Please bring a mask for re-purposing, doodads, thread, sequins and other delights to fashion and re-create beautiful masks that promote a beautiful reclaiming of the breath. Working creatively with masks at the Air is Life event will be part of our activation/ceremony. Many of us have been making and decorating our own masks and artists are picking up on this social phenomenon. Join Taiaiako'n Historical Preservation and the High Park Nature Centre as we liberate our breath with cultural sharings and teachings from the natural world. We have a hard time taking a breath or hearing each other's words. As we survive the pandemic we think about breath as stigmatized and carrying the virus. Winds form languages, shape tree branches winds of change push us to live in a good way - in universal 'right relations'.

Winds interact with and support other elemental energies. Leaves, thoughts, and words are carried on the wind as the seasons change and people huddle together to form loving community. Wind carries Feathers from beings who see us from the greater perspective of sky. Wind moves (the) Maple trees bringing flow to the sap. So please dress for the weather and bring a blanket to keep warm.Īir moves through us and all around us as wind, cloud and mist. It is a rain or shine under the cover of our verandas.
